I’m Theresa
I’m a heart and faith based , award-winning entrepreneur, resilience advocate, and producer of The Miracle Morning movie.
After surviving a near-fatal accident, I transformed adversity into purpose and am known as “Toronto’s Walking Miracle.” My mission is to empower women to rise, reset, and thrive.
As founder of The SociaLIGHT Conference, I’ve shared stages with icons like Sir Richard Branson, Seth Godin, Robin Sharma and Deepak Chopra.
I’ve been featured in Forbes, honored by the Lieutenant Governor of Canada, and recognized as a Canadian Women Entrepreneur Icon.
On Easter Sunday 2017, my life changed forever.
Surviving the impossible, I rebuilt my life with faith, heartset, and small daily steps. Today, I help women rediscover their power, align with their purpose, and create lives they love—because your comeback can be your greatest chapter.
Over the past decade, I’ve empowered more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and leaders to use business as a force for good. My work has taken me from producing national TV series for CTV and Citytv, to leading global “Love in Action” projects delivering medical supplies in the Philippines, funding education in Kenya, and restoring sight to hundreds in Tibet.
Brands like Intuit Quickbooks, IBM, UPS, PWC, and the City of Toronto have trusted my message and leadership.
I’m also the IMDb-credited producer of The Miracle Morning Movie, based on the book by Hal Elrod, which has inspired millions around the world.
Honored as a Canadian Women Entrepreneur Icon by Startup Canada and a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Council, my mission is to ignite a global ripple effect of empowered, purpose-driven women and conscious leaders.
My life and journey is a living testament of God’s power, love and that miracles do happen.

Impact
At the heart of Theresa Corazon Laurico’s work is a deep commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact. Through her non-profit Love in Action, she helped build a village with Free the Children in Africa, organized programs to feed and clothe the homeless, and raised funds to sponsor a dentist to provide much-needed dental care in the Philippines.
Her philanthropic leadership has spanned the globe. Theresa raised $25,000 for SEVA Canada, donating 200 eye-restoration surgeries so mothers and individuals could see for the first time or regain their vision. She has planted trees with Tree Canada, built a playground for sick children with Million Dollar Smiles, and launched the Love in Action Program, which became an accredited leadership curriculum in schools across New York City.
Theresa has also supported entrepreneurs and communities worldwide by donating scholarships to empower Philippine entrepreneurs and fundraising to build stoves in a mountain village in Peru, improving health and daily living conditions.
Her impact demonstrates her unwavering belief that business and leadership must be a force for good. She is passionate about supporting education, women empowerment, mental health and the environment. Guided by her faith, Theresa continues to integrate love, service, and action into everything she does—igniting change – one heart, one project, and one community at a time.
